Open positions for Chemometricians/ Statisticians at Oslo or New Jersey

You will become a key member of CAMO's chemometrics team and work essentially with applied statistics and chemometrics and method development.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Participate in development projects for our software products: method development, specification writing, testing.
• Hold training courses in multivariate data analysis (PCA and PLS regression a.o.) and experimental design.
• Statistical consulting services.
• Participate in international conferences (lectures, stand).
• The position requires some travelling activities.

• Higher University education (Master, PhD) in chemometrics, statistics, mathematics or chemistry.
• Interest for multivariate challenges across disciplines and sciences where statistics and chemometrics are used.
• Experience in applied chemometrics/statistics from e.g. the process industry, the chemical industry, the food industry or the oil industry.
• Good written and oral English skills.
• Applicants should preferably speak one or several foreign languages.

You will be the technical resource in one of our sales teams with focus on Nordic and Northern European markets.

• Present multivariate analysis methods and hold software demonstrations in customer meetings.

• Hold web-seminars.
• Participate in international conferences (stand, lectures).
• Provide technical support for our software users.
• Travelling activities are a natural part of the position.

• University education in chemometrics, chemistry, statistics or mathematics.
• Interest for multivariate challenges across disciplines and sciences where statistics and chemometrics are used.
• Good social skills; enjoys meeting with new people and building contacts.
• Good written and oral English skills.
