CAMO Software Announces Planned Integration into ABB xPAT Platform

Sydney, Australia - August 14, 2009: CAMO Software, a leading supplier of multivariate analysis (MVA) and design of experiments (DoE) software, today announced its planned integration into the ABB xPAT platform to further strengthen its position in the growing areas of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and Quality by Design (QbD).

“We currently have an important integration with the ABB FTSW100 platform and Unscrambler Predictor and see the xPAT integration as adding more value to our new product range coming out in October this year”, explains Brad Swarbrick, Product Manager for CAMO Software AS. “In this current period of PAT growth, such integrations provide existing and future clients greater choice in the multivariate data engines they choose.”

This integration is scheduled to coincide with the launch of the new Unscrambler Online product. Unscrambler Online allows its users to apply the benefits of multivariate statistical process monitoring tools to their current quality management systems, in line with the QbD, ISPE GAMP5 and ICH Q10 guidance documents.

CAMO Software has a renewed emphasis on a wider user base and The Unscrambler® - GenX family of products is set to be the most flexible and adaptable multivariate analysis tools on the market. A complete software qualification package is available with all of the new products, reducing the burden to validation departments and the new plug-in architecture of all of our products makes upgrading a simpler task. The first of The Unscrambler® GenX products, namely The Unscrambler® X is expected to be released in October 2009.
