In industry and product development the end goal is typically to manufacture a product with a defined and consistent quality. This can be achieved through real-time data collection and the application of relevant models to extract information in order to optimize the process operations. Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is the method of monitoring processes in real time, using relevant measurements and appropriate models. The full benefit of PAT requires consideration of measurements, planning of experiments, model development and implementation of the solution.
The PAT course will provide an overview of how Design of Experiments (DoE) and Multivariate Analysis (MVA) can be applied to R&D and manufacturing-based data to meet the many objectives of PAT in your environment. This course is aimed at the application of MVA tools for manufacturing intelligence, as well as defining the right experiments for efficient trials in R&D, pilot scale and in the live manufacturing environment. An introduction to batch modeling technology will also be included in the training.
The PAT challenges and solutions will be highlighted through examples and exercises using CAMO products (The Unscrambler® and Process Pulse II). The examples will be from across industries and the course is designed to be relevant for any industry.
The course will be delivered by one of our industry experts with extensive experience from the pharmaceutical industry, among others, and provides insights and experiences, gained through practical hands-on application of methods into real process situations.
