How does The Unscrambler calculate regression coefficients in PLS?

The regression coefficients are calculated from the loadings. The loadings are a linear combination of the original variables. The response variable is a linear combination of the loadings. From this last equation and by replacing each loading by its equation the B-coefficient can be calculated. The weighted coefficients are the one obtained first. If a weight has been applied the B-weighted coefficient are converted on the original unit to give the B-coefficients.
