ChemChina partners with Camo for analytics platform
OSLO – October 16th 2018 – CAMO Analytics, the leader in industrial analytics, today announced a new strategic partnership between ChemChina and Camo Analytics. Improving quality and efficiency in one of the worlds biggest chemical companies is the overall purpose with the new partnership. As part of an enterprise wide digital transformation process the Chinese world leader wants to build an analytics platform for its operating facilities.
New strategic partnership and a long-term co-innovation strategy aims at improving product quality and competitive edge at ChemChina and it’s subsidiaries including Elkem, Syngenta and Pirelli. China National Chemical Corporation, commonly known as ChemChina, is a chemical company with a revenue of 45 billion USD delivering agrochemicals, rubber products, petrochemical processing and more.
The new partnership focuses on utilizing Camo’s industrial analytics platform in production facilities worldwide as part of a continuous improvement program headed by ChemChina’s Digital team. Camo Analytics contributes with domain expertise in the chemical industry and a scientific and proven approach to data analytics. Pilot projects are already in progress in several facilities at ChemChina.
Camo Analytics will implement and deliver a industrial data analytics platform combined with data science expertise across multiple production facilities operated by ChemChina.

The partnership will manifest itself in co-created applications to be adopted by different organizations in ChemChina. Examples could be the utilization of Camo Analytics’ Process Pulse, which is the platform hub for real-time process monitoring and quality control, or embedded analytical engines which can be used for Industrial IoT and integrated directly into advanced sensors providing edge analytics.
